This booth structure was designed to be totally self-contained. Constructed out of aluminum panels with screen-printed messaging and plywood crates with flexible fabric wings.
Original concept sketches of the booth were used to approve basic layout and approach. A three-dimensional model was created as a physical miniature to illustrate booth functionality. The custom booth covered a 100' x 100' space.
In association with another graphics firm, we designed an exhibit that consisted of graphic panels on the surfaces of eight self-contained structures. When not in use parts of the structures acted as packaging, so it could be easily transported and assembled by one person in less than two hours. The project also required a brochure, poster and tri-panel wallet card – produced in six different languages.
UNFPA is the UN agency focusing on global population issues. They wanted a flexible, multilingual exhibit to promote their message worldwide – encompassing six languages and a tour of 20 countries.
