
The key component of this event presentation was the animation showing technology applications. It was recognized as the best motion graphics promotion at the 2008 American Coatings Show and won a 2008 American Graphic Design Award. Premiums sourced specifically for the show reflected the brand and tactical themes.
This dramatic, environmentally-conscious booth was constructed using an aluminum tube frame, fabric graphics, a wooden platform with laminates, Molo paper wall, printed graphics mounted on MDF, Molo paper benches, and real grass.
Original concept sketches of booths were used to approve the basic layout and approach. A three-dimensional model was then created to show the booth functionality. This was a 30' x 60' booth was the winner of the 2008 American Graphic Design Awards, Exhibit Design.
With the goal to engage customers and prospects directly, the Rohm and Haas booth was designed to have a dramatic appearance. It featured a walk-through tunnel where visitors were exposed to a flat screen animation highlighting industrial and architectural applications for Rohm and Haas technology. The tunnel led to a receiving area where booth staff discussed partnership opportunities.
As a leader in the field of industrial and architectural coatings, Rohm and Haas wanted to make a statement to the market about its innovation capabilities at the 2008 American Coatings Show. The company's theme was Making the Impossible Possible. The company wanted an environmentally-conscious approach to the show that changed people's perceptions of its willingness to partner in innovation.
